Only at CAFFE MED. we have "UNPLUGGED" Live for a while. Because  Caffe Med. owner Craig doesn't want too much noise. There is very noise place but he needs us to be quiet sound.....so do we.....!

11/4, Sunday, we took photos of Rabia at Caffe Med. So I will post the photos for this ....

This morning, 11/11, at Caffe Med. was so good. Girls sung songs with Rabia & Boys enjoyed (my) Keizo's guitar play. Rev. Rabia & I are still happy at the cafe.....

Next week, we will play at Stork Club Oakland, and we can use electric guitars....so we are very happy and we can't wait for next week.

I couldn't post this K's music box ! for a while because of Midterm !
I was so tired,and I got many stressssssssss.......lol. But I'm fine & Okay now.

Today 10/28, after Caffe Med. ,Rabia & I went to Guitar Center because we need new guitars and others. We will buy 2 or 3 guitars for our recording, so we checked Taylor, Martin Acoustic & Fender Electric Guitars.
It was so fun !

<>Stork Club Oakland<>

I am so busy for my school, gigs & day job, so I can't write this post. But I try to write new post today.
BUT I don't remember what did I do for a while......lol. Rabia & I had a gig at Stork Club Oakland yesterday (10/6). We love the Stork Club because the place was so good to us. We got one more gig at Stork Club, so we are very happy. And yesterday morning, we had another gig for Laguna Honda Hospital in San Francisco,CA for volunteer, that was great experience.

(10/6) Yesterday, Rabia & I took photos of "freelance human(S)" and REV. RABIA with the guitarist from Hanzo the Razor promotion photos in San Francisco & Oakland.

This morning (10/7), we had a gig at CAFFE MED. There was FULL HOUSE......yeahhhhhh !

Rabia is reading a lot of Shakespeare for her school homework. So of late, she speaketh with a strange tongue. (ha, ha)

GREAT TIME !

I'm so busy these days......
9/17 on Monday, Rabia & I went to Lake County,CA to attend MIKE WILHELM & HIRED GUNS Show. The night, Rabia and Paul McCandeless, who is a 3 timeGrammy winner Jazz player, jam with Mike & Hired Guns. That was such a fantastic night and I enjoyed and took photos of the show. The venue is BLUE WING SALOON which has great space & food.

Yesterday, Saturday we had two gigs ; one was EL CERRITO PLAZA FARMER'S MARKET. Many children were there, and they enjoyed our music. So we were very happy. One more was at Caffe Med. Then a few cute & sexy girls took photos of me when I was playing solo guitar. I was happy with them ! .........hahaha hehehe....hahaha.

And this morning, 9/23, we played at Caffe Med. again. Also many young guys included sexy girls again came to there. We enjoyed and they enjoyed our music. I love young people energy very much. Today, I played slide guitar it's very crazy noise sound but I love it !

FIRST JAM SESSION SINCE 1979

Since starting school, I am so busy  studying & playing gigs. 9/7/2012, I had a Jam Session,my first since 1979 with my classmates of San Francisco State University. They are much younger than me, but they are so great musicians. Young energy is very good for me.

Last night & this morning, Rabia & I had gigs. My playing guitar is different before because I got great ideas from my classmates. Some Caffe Med. audiences told me the guitar sound is great ! So I'm so happy ! Thank you Thank you Thank you !

My school-San Francisco State University-started on 8/28/2012. The classes are so fun I can't wait for the next classes. 8/31 Friday, I bought a Stella guitar at Subway, its conditions is very good, so I'm very happy with my Stella !

This morning, we played at Caffe Med. Today again, it's full house.....people were dancing, singing & enjoying with us. Rabia & I were so happy with our audiences !

WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT CAFFE MED. !

Rabia & I took a vacation at Mike and Ana Maria Wilhelm's house on 8/18-19/2012.
We were relaxing and enjoy talking with them. Also we recorded 4 songs for promotion Demo. IT's Mike Wilhelm produced and mixed. We studied and leaned how to make a good sound recording from Mike Wilhelm.

Last night, we played at Caffe Med. We started to playing music & 10min later, it so strange sound came. Fucking young guys turned on radio......it's sooo fuckin' stupid show & too FUCKING LOUD !
So I stopped to playing guitar and Rabia stopped. We were waiting for 15min.....so it's fuckin' 15min. Fucking boys played loud fuckin' radio show. I'm still fuckin' angry at them. They might be fuckin' UC Berkeley students !......... FUCK !!! I couldn't stand the night ! ...... FUCK ! I don't say FUCK words but .....this time I would use this words.......FUCK YOU !!!

This morning, we played at Caffe Med. was so good with regular audiences !

Caffe Med. on Telegraph Ave. (8/12/2012)

Last week, Mike Wilhelm posted about new his gig schedule, and then he wrote a message that was so good for us. " Mike Wilhelm & Hired Guns 9/17/2012 at Blue Wing. with 3 time Grammy winning reed man Paul McCandless and featuring the exciting and funky blues singer/guitarist Rev. Rabia....."

Yesterday & Today, we played at El Cerrito Plaza Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. Somebody took photos of us.  At Caffe Med. Saturday night & this morning: last night, our fans were singing along and dancing to our music. We are so happy to have regular gigs.

Next weekend, we'll be on vacation so no gig at Caffe Med.  for one week. We are going to go & stay at Mike and Ana Maria Wilhelm's house.

Everything is going to well our life.....but one thing is very bad about Chevron in Point Richmond,CA

Rabia & I saw Elvin Bishop Band last Friday(8/3). It's so great concert...we enjoyed so much. Saturday, 8/4 before Caffe Med. gig, I took photos of model Nakiah Cherry. She is very beautiful & smart woman who helped me to make images. This time, my work was so wonderful moment with Nakiah. THANK YOU !!!.... Nakiah Cherry !

AND Saturday gig at Caffe Med. was so great ! 1st & 2nd floor were overflowing with new fans and great regulars. This is our first experience of a full house. Rabia & Keizo(as Guitarist from Hanzo the Razor) want to say ........ THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!

Yesterday & Today, we played at Caffe Med. was so fantastic !

Last night, people enjoyed our music especially second floor people were dancing to our music. And today, first & second floor people enjoyed very much.  Also our friends came to see us at Caffe Med. We are very happy !


We need summer vacation, so we will take the vacation next month. We will visit & stay at Mike & Ana Maria Wilhelm's house.

Last week, we don't have much gigs, so we could have relaxing times. Yesterday, Rabia & Mike Wilhelm talked about my new band " freelance human(S) " because I'm stuck on my idea.... Mike gave us great ideas. Saturday night, we played at Caffe Med. then I had a good time with my guitar playing. Especially, Tom Waits's EGG & SAUSAGE was so good. AND this morning, people enjoyed our playing .... so we are very happy with them.

From tomorrow, we will play at BART PLAZA. It calls DOWNTOWN BERKELEY MUSICIANS CORNER at BART PLAZA gig. We will play on Monday, 7/23/2012,.... Tuesday,7/24/2012,....& Tuesday, 7/31/2012. Maybe we will play at there next month.

Mike Wilhelm invited us his gig on September. We can't wait for this gig ! ......It's so fun !!!

Rabia & I are very happy because........

We played at The DARK HORSE Inn (Wed.7/11) in San Francisco,CA. The owner is so nice and many people were in the audience . We went to Randy Western Trio show on Friday night(7/13), last Saturday ...Surprised Surprised Surprised.......Sandy Rothman, who played with Jerry Garcia, came to see us at CAFFE MED. (7/14) We haven't seen each other since Jerry Day 2008. We had a great time. AND Sunday (7/15) at CAFFE MED. Many hippie cos-play deadheads were there ! & we played at Mo'Joe Cafe in Berkeley,CA. Jonathan Ingersoll took photos of us. That's so FANTASTIC ! SO WE ARE HAPPY NOW !

July 5, 2012 Mike Wilhelm & Hired Guns with Friends Show was FANTASTIC ! Many musicians played with them......Rabia sung the song HELP ME. She was so good !

Yesterday, Saturday, we had two gigs......it's fun but I was tired. And this morning, our music at CAFFE MED. was very fantastic again ! So I'm happy with Rabia.

We are so busy now, but we cleaned our house since this January.

Yesterday,6/30, before gig, We went to Sausalito, CA. We were looking for the Dock of the Bay. I was very tired, so I made mistake a lot on gig but Craig, who is owner of Caffe Med., told me the sounds good. And this morning, our play was fantastic ! so Craig was happy with us.

Coming soon ..... Mike Wilhelm & Hired Guns show on July 5. Rabia will be sitting in with Mike again ! It's so fun !!!

Sleepy...I don't know why I'm very sleepy today. But Rabia & I played at Caffe Med. it's so fantastic ! When we played the song AUTOMOBILE BLUES, we made mistake first take because I heard Lightnin' Hopkins for a while. I played original take and Rabia played her arrange take.....so....and I quickly played back to Rabia's take. Anyway, we enjoyed to play the blues so much. After gig, we went to Baltic Bar in Point Richmond. We drunk beer & wine it was also very fun ! I took a photo of beer ......

This year, I came back to music world since 1979. I didn't want to be a musician because the business was so hard to me. But I'm very happy with Rabia, and I enjoy playing a guitar. Rabia & I have many gigs job, so we are very excited.

Rabia & I are still college students. We worry about our schools because we are interested in music so much !

We have a cold, but we played this morning. Yesterday, Rabia's voice was much better but her voice was very strange this morning. Rabia didn't want to stay home. This month, we got many gigs job, so we are very excited even we have a cold.

This morning, we recorded our gig at Caffe Med. on Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley, CA. It's so good sound but we are not satisfy our playing. We are going to make our live CD sometime soon. Rabia hoped that she makes her lost tape CD first. That's so good play music with her guitar teacher Robert Lowery & and harmonica player Virgil Thrasher. We will have more gigs soon.

Caffe Med. in Telegraph Ave. (5/20/2012)

Rabia is still happy because her life is great ...with me. And I'm happy because I came back to my job, playing music with Rabia, study math. ,art, English and more at my school....Especially playing music with Rabia is so great for me. This morning, we played at Caffe but its very weird. Nobody was there for a while ... because of Bay to Breakers,and some music festivals  somewhere. But our playing sound was so good. A few audiences enjoyed our playing.When we played song was Little Red Rooster, they clapped hands & enjoyable our playing. My bottle neck playing sound was so smooth so I was glad. Soon , we will play at Bobby G's (in Berkeley,CA) & one more day at Caffe Med. So we are so lucky we get gigs !

Congratulation Rabia !
She graduated from her University. May 11th & 12th, she had her Hooding Ceremony on Friday & her Graduation on Saturday. I am proud of her so much because she is working so hard  teaching, studying ,and as my wife, mother....of course as a musician. After Graduation, we went to Bobby G's and Robert who is owner of Bobby G's told us we will play there again. And today, after gig, Craig who is owner of Caffe Med. offered  us one more day for gig. We played music this morning, its so good ! Audience enjoyed & Rabia and I are so glad to play music !

5//3/2012, Rabia sung with Mike Wilhelm & Hired Guns at Presidio Yacht Club in Sausalito. That's my dream so I'm very happy now. Because Mike is member of 60's Charlatans. Charlatans was first hippie band in bayarea San Francisco. Jerry Garcia loved Mike Wilhelm so much. And Mike is my old friend,and I produced his live CD before with Mike & Ana Maria Wilhelm.

Rabia & I still have Sunday Mornings gig, so we played this morning. It's so fun ! We will play music on TV Show this August or November, so we are excited now....

Caffe Med. in Telegraph Ave. Berkeley, CA (April 15th)

For a while, Rabia & I had good times relaxing. Last Friday,we went to the French Hotel in Berkeley,CA to drink coffee. And then, the coffee shop's maestro told me I can have my show at French Hotel. And yesterday, we also went to KPFA Radio Station & met Tom Mazzilini.  So we are very happy ! But we played at Caffe Med. today...SUCKS !!! We don't know why it's so bad....lol. We will change our song lists from next gig...ahhhh.

HAPPY EASTER !

Mike Wilhelm, who is my friend, played with his band Hired Guns on April 5th. I took photos of him and his band. It's so cool sound. I posted this photo and he gave me a message that " Keizo Yamazawa is a superb photographer in fact, he's the bomb ! " he wrote this on Facebook, April 7th. Thank you very much, Mike !  Also Big Brother & the Holding Company's Sam Andrew wrote Keizo is great photographer on his blog. So I'm very happy with them.

Yesterday, Rabia & I played at El Cerrito Plaza, CA. We played twice Egg & Sausage for 7min and 12min. And today, we played same song for 17 min. Really I need Bass G. Player & Drummer.... maybe we will be playing the song over 30min. Anyway, today's very good day !

Caffe Med. in Telegraph Ave. Berkeley, CA (April 4th)

My body condition has been good since 2007 but some strange pain has stayed on my body 24/7. For while, I have strong pain, and I couldn't play the guitar until this morning. Rabia asked me to stay home. My an answer was NO. Today was so fantastic gig we had. We played the music of Tom Waits "Egg & Sausage", ...... Mose Allison tnue...lol. ..., and....."Automobile Blues" ...Especially these songs were very succesfully playing today. I haven't always used blues scales, but I used the one a lot today. My guitar solo time was so long then I worried my playing.....BUT people were there and enjoyed our play even my condition was too bad. So I'm happy for writing this !

Caffe Med. in Telegraph Ave. Berkeley, CA (March 25)

Last week, I got a message from Bass G.Player who was my band mate back in 1996 or 7. It's so long time ago. We played three or four gigs together. Then I played Drums and now I play lead guitar. This morning, my wife, Rabia, and I played blues,jazz and rock music....hehehe. I think I need new Bass G & Drummer because my playing style is Jam Band. Sometimes Rabia told me you have so much soul..... but I think I'm Japanese......hahaha.

Caffe Med. in Telegraph Ave. Berkeley, CA

My wife , Rabia, and I (as the guitarist from Hanzo The Razor) play music at Caffe Med. in Telegraph Ave. Berkeley CA  every Sunday morning ! It's very fun. I didn't wan't to come back to the music world from 1979. The reazon is I had a stroke so I couldn't use my right side arm ,fingers and hand since 1998. So my guitar playing SUCKS ! But I begun to play music this year because Rabia needs me. Today, we tried to play the music Kenny Rankin song "SOMETIMES" it's not so bad.....lol. My local music star who was my friend told me SUCKS ! Yes I did.... but Today's play was not SUCKS.....LOL.
